Autumn is my favourite time of year. It is a time for reflection and giving thanks for the great abundance in my life: relationships, projects with purpose and, of course, harvesting the variety of food my partner and I have worked hard to grow throughout summer!
As the deciduous trees change their wardrobes from green to orange and red, then allow their leaves fall, I am reminded that growth and change begins with the shedding and letting go of that which I no longer require. Letting go and allowing, so that I may move forward with renewed purpose and passion, all the while giving thanks for the people in my life and the "synchronicity” of experiences that occur.
This edition of Synergy invites us to pause and reflect on what we are harvesting this season. Several authors in this edition, from Gael Carter and Ian Gartshore to Bobby O’Neale and Janelle Hoddevik write about "connection” and "relationship” on multiple levels: with the earth, spirit and one another.
Wishing you and your family abundant blessings,
