Signs Our Body Gives Us

Our bodies give us signs that we are out of balance and therefore not well. In a state of homeostasis, all functions of the body work together within a certain spectrum of tolerance. When the body is unable to tolerate an imbalance, it is out of homeostasis. In my opinion, this imbalance is the true cause of our health problems. The body might express this imbalance as pain, inflammation, fever etc. To regain health, one has to find the area or the type of imbalance, and the cause of the imbalance.

With headaches or back-pain, the area of imbalance might be the back or neck. The cause could be the recliner a person is sitting in, or the wrong position of the computer, or whip-lash. The type of imbalance of constipation might be a symptom for a nutritional imbalance. The cause could be wrong food, stress or not drinking enough water.

The original cause of an imbalance can be any form of trauma, which can be emotional, physical, environmental (toxins) and spiritual. Take for example toxins…about 15.000 additives can be legally added to our food without listing them on the label (Kevin Trudeau, Natural Cures "They” don’t want you to know about, page 75).

It is no surprise that our generation has experienced the most illness ever. We eat meat from animals that were given medication. Many of us are also taking medication. We eat fruits and vegetables which were sprayed with herbicides and/or pesticides. We use personal care products without investigating the ingredients. We smoke, and the ingredients of cigarettes are downright scary. We colour our hair. We get ‘freezing’ when we go to the dentist. We have Mercury fillings. We have Chlorine in our water. We have to inhale fumes from carpets, disinfectants, and cleaning products.

The Chi (Life-energy) that flows along the Meridians is actually a flow of electrons. Electrons are electric particles. Any imbalance in the body is an imbalance in the Chi-flow. The body’s intelligence is able to reestablish a balanced Chi-flow and to heal itself. However, to accomplish this in today’s world, we need to provide the body with what it needs to do its job.

In India, one uses Yoga and Arjuvedic Medicine to balance the body’s functions. The Chinese have done this for thousands of years with Acupressure/Acupuncture, Tai-Chi, herbs and the goji berry. Type ‘Dr. Emoto’ into one of the search-engines and check out his experiments with ’Messages in Water’. You will see through the illustrations why a happy cell is so important. Remember: our bodies consist of about 70% water.

A Catscan or an MRI is not able to show Chi-flow disturbances. When these disturbances exist over time, the body can react with a detectable problem. At that point, we tend to go on medication to "fix” the problem. However, the problem is usually a symptom, and by covering the symptom up or suppressing it via medications, one can make the situation worse and sooner or later another health-problem will show up.

What can we do to help our body to heal itself and reestablish homeostasis? A healthy life-style with regular exercise, a lot of raw and organic food, fresh or cold-pressed juices (my choice due to time constraints), loving relationships, and enough sleep will help the body to a large degree to regain homeostasis on its own. Healthy cells result in healthy tissues. Healthy tissues result in healthy organs… and healthy organs result in a healthy, energetic body.
