Signs Our Bodies Give Us – Fear and Love

Fear is a signal that we are not in a state of love and trust. When we are acting in fear we may not trust our abilities, partner, friends or life in general. Fear is the opposite of love. The emotion of fear vibrates at a low frequency and we call it a negative emotion; whereas love vibrates at a high frequency and we call it a positive emotion.

When we are unable to love ourselves, we are unable to love others or life itself. We lose the zest for life that we experience when we are in a state of love.

Love is unconditional; always present and forgiving, never changing, demanding or judging. It comes from the heart and not from the mind. When we conduct our lives from this level of love, we do not fear disease. Just think of Albert Schweitzer, Florence Nightingale, Mother Theresa and parents who care for their sick children. Science has proven that we have a better immune system when we are in a happy emotional state.

Dr. Eric Pearl, in his Reconnective Healing seminar, spoke about this love as "a love that is not the love of a Hallmark Greeting Card” and that a practitioner needs to be in this state of love trusting God or the Universe that the right healing will happen for the client. It is a love that lets us forget our own ideas about what needs to be done.

I write this because we live in a critical time that is not comparable with any other time in history. Our future is less predictable. Love has the ability to carry us through the difficult times ahead. Some seem to be aware of this and others not.

The movie ‘Zeitgeist’ gives us the necessary big-picture understanding of what is going on in our world. Too many of us have lost interest in the world and have become apathetic or at worse, fearful. We are distracted by the accumulation of material things, television, sports and unimportant news. The receptors in our brain cells are also affected by all kinds of toxins in toothpaste, vaccines, sprays, lotions, food and environment which result in us being lethargic thinkers.

There is hope. When we choose love, we recognize how powerful we are. "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.” Jimi Hendrix.

While writing this article, I received an email regarding the 27th anniversary of John Lennon’s Passing, which read, "…Let’s, together, make the world a place of love and joy and not a place of fear and anger. This day of John’s passing has become more and more important for so many people around the world as the day to remember his message of Peace and Love and to do what each of us can to work on healing this planet we cherish…" Yoko Ono Lennon,

I recommend watching the two movies on the website and to realize the power of love, so that one day we will truly have peace and all children on our planet can be without fear, loneliness and despair. We have the choice between fear and love. The children in the war zones have no choice at all.

"From Love comes Peace" John Lennon. …. Let us choose love.
